Go to a store and ask for boxes, a lot of them get shipments in them and they'll be happy they don't have to break them down and haul them out. Only problem could be corporate regs. Smaller shops are more likely to do it

Thank you! I think at this point it's more a psychological thing than an actual physical lack of boxes, but I will keep that in mind! We used to do that a lot at the store I worked at, and were happy to give the boxes away instead of having to haul them out to the recycling dumpster!
