Today is take two of the “let’s acclimate the cat to two houses; that’s an awesome plan” plan. (Last weekend he stayed at the apartment, since it seemed unwise to add him to the mix when there was a brand new dog at the house at the time.)

I thought about having him stay home today too, because that would definitely be at least short-term easier, but I think it probably (hopefully?) makes sense to try again.

Conceptually, I think it’s an excellent plan, it’s just that operationally it hasn’t experienced stellar success thus far.

Try, try again. Cats, man. They’re a mystery to me, but I still want to hug them and snuggle them and love them forever.
