Work:
Upside: didn’t lose power! Downside: had no excuse not to work from home. (Upside: got paid!)

Cat:
At one point during the day he started pawing at one of the cupboard doors. It has dishes in it. (Not his dishes.) Does he hear mice? Ghosts? Just likes the way it feels on his paws?

Chores:
Did them all early, since I was expecting to lose electricity. That was actually kind of nice.

[Note: I just heard the weirdest beeping, but now it’s stopped. Was it coming from my apartment? Maybe it was in the hallway? Was it my car starter? Is this how my cat feels all the time?]
