Remember back in elementary school, when teachers said we should all learn our times tables? Because, “You won’t have a calculator with you everywhere you go!”

Well, turns out the future is here, and I beg to differ. In fact, almost everyone these days has a calculator with them nearly everywhere they go! (IDK, I don’t take my phone everywhere, but most places, yes.) Which is SO COOL!

Alternately, need to know how much to tip? Ask the internet; it’s RIGHT HERE IN MY PHONE.

[Note: Knowing math stuff is still super important! But it’s incredible to me that things have changed so much in such a short time. I feel like someday I will tell this same sort of story about how my first apartment has Actual Metal Keys to get inside. CRAZY! It’s pretty exciting, and it always makes me feel good about being alive, because I get to see what’s next!]
