movie re-watch: Jupiter Ascending

Still just as over-the-top ridiculous and awesome as it was in the theater! Definitely enjoyed the re-watch. (I was going to say the Chicago fight scene was harder to follow on the small screen, but I actually couldn’t follow it that well on the big screen either, so that may just be me.)

What I love about these one-shot world-building movies (Inception is another one that comes to mind) is that they invite the audience to explain away any inconsistencies. Why does Caine’s accent change so much? Based on his vague backstory and the expansive (yet also vague) AU of the movie, there are surely dozens of potential reasons! Just pick the one you like best and run with it!
