Three great things before 8:30 am!

1. Between the fan and the window noise, I didn’t hear my morning alarm. The cat did a fantastic job waking me up right on cue! (He is great at clocks.)

2. Even though it’s going to be 90-something today, the morning air was cool and beautiful when I opened the balcony door and sat for a few minutes.

3. Someone in an apartment nearby made coffee and toast, and it smelled *amazing.*
