Anyway, there’s now a default news app on my phone. Not sure why, since presumably anyone who wanted news could get it easily enough, but there it is.

Yesterday I read one article (about Congress! I thought it was safe!) and started crying, so I decided to stop there. So far the app is still in my testing zone (screen 2), but I think it may be destined for a drop into the Extras folder.
