We are currently under a flood watch, with a potential for 3-5 inches of rain today! Which makes this the perfect time to share the NUMBER ONE MOST AWESOME THING ABOUT BALCONIES.

You can leave all the windows that face the balcony OPEN during rainstorms!

It was super hot and humid yesterday (weather!!! ::fist shake::) and of course right now it’s pouring, but it’s also breezy! There is a coolish breeze out there, and — thanks to the wonder of balconies — I can invite it inside without getting rain all over my stuff.
