marcicatAfter what *felt* like a Herculean effort, but actually included getting distracted by reading Nine Lifetimes, by otter (there’s a cat!), I caught up to the word goal last night.
Which is great (confetti!) but means that today I feel all ‘woohoo rest day!!!’ when in reality it’s more like ‘oh no that was just setting the counter back to zero; it’s another 1700 words today.’
But yeah, current word count: 10,337
Current novel events: My last sentence described their status as a “good news / bad news situation.” I have no idea what the good news *or* the bad news is.
