One of my coworkers is apartment-hunting, so we got talking about renting vs buying and the perils of trying to find a place to live that is 1) in your price range, 2) won’t make your commute insane, and 3) won’t make you want to move out as soon as you move in.

(Turns out you usually get two out of the three, so it’s really just picking the two that are most critical at the time.)

Anyway, the best part of the conversation was that someone finally shared my excitement about having an in-unit a washer and dryer. (It’s so convenient! I love it!)
