Civil Warm comics primer

Like many of the major comic book events, I have only a vague knowledge of how Civil War played out, mostly influenced by enormous amounts of fanfic. So I’ve got Steve’s tree speech, and Tony’s ‘it wasn’t worth it,’ and Sharon on the grassy knoll at the courthouse, and of *course* the classic ‘Reed looks at AUs and sees Steve and Natasha Stark getting married,’ but not a huge amount of the context.

Enter copperbadge’s Civil War Summer Read Along. It’s from last summer, and I’ll admit I didn’t actually read any of the comics at all, but I thoroughly enjoyed the summaries and the overall explanations.

Highlight: It was reassuring to learn that I wasn’t as clueless as I thought about what the heck they were actually fighting about. Or, I was, but everyone else was too, because nothing makes any sense in comics.
