this is not a drill
Nov. 1st, 2017 06:09 amNaNoWriMo has arrived! My approximate thoughts as I begin:
'Okay, file is open. I'm going to need a title. Wait, did I already pick a title? I remember creating a new novel on the nano site, probably I titled it, right? I wonder what it was. I hope it was something long. Clearly it wasn't anything memorable. Should I go check it now?'
[Yes, I already picked a title. And then forgot it. Oops.]
My 2017 NaNoWriMo novel synopsis:
Every year I pick Adventure as my novel genre. Every year my novel is about eating breakfast and taking naps. Sometimes there is weather, or some sort of misunderstanding, and almost always at least one cute animal. At some point, guaranteed, there will be shrugging, nodding, hugging, and holding hands. Not usually all at once, but you never know. It is an adventure, after all.
