THE CHRISTMAS BEAR WREATH IS BACK. The Christmas bear wreath is a door decoration here at the apartment complex (inside door, so it's in the hallway) -- it was mentioned in several posts back in the winter of 2015-2016, when it gained the dubious recognition of staying up until May.
I wondered at the time what had finally made the neighbors take it down. I mean, once you've left a Christmas decoration up until May, you've really committed to it. What makes you suddenly notice it five months later and think 'oh yeah, I guess I should do something about that'?
Which led me to wonder if perhaps some frustrated soul had ::cough:: liberated the Christmas bear. When it didn't show up at all last Christmas (winter of 2016-2017), I wondered even more.
And now it's BACK! This is a bear that has Seen Things for sure. And of course, the question of the day is: how long will the wreath stay up this time???
