That feeling when you get a notice from AO3 that one of your subscriptions has updated:

1st reaction: ‘Yay!’

Then you open the email:

2nd reaction: ‘…’

Then you *carefully* re-read the email:

3rd reaction: ‘I have no memory of this place.’

(I mean, on the plus side, now I can re-read ALL the chapters.)
