I hereby officially gift my new robot vacuum cleaner with the name Josie.

According to the highly reputable and scientific method of google searching, Saint Zita is the patron saint of housecleaning, and Saint Joseph of Cupertino is the patron saint of outer space (aka vacuum). Josie seemed like the most adorable way to combine the two names. (I tried anagramming various combinations of the words saint, zita, joseph, and cupertino, but nothing really stuck.)

Other considerations:
*It’s similar to Rosie, which was the name of the Jetson’s robot house-cleaner.

*Josie sounds nothing like Kismet, so the cat won’t get confused.

*I can use Jojo as a nickname. What’s not to love?
