I already posted about work once this week, so this is more about adulting in general. Because can I just say, being an adult is so, so much easier than being a kid.

Like, obviously that’s not true in every single situation ever, but on Monday I overheard this conversation (at work, even, so it totally counts!):

Person 1: “Oh, you switched desks!”

Person 2: “Yeah, I don’t like people walking behind me.”

Person 1: “Sounds good.”

And it was as simple as that. Problem, solution, acceptance. Done. And adults get away with this kind of stuff all the time! “I’m not hungry right now.” “I’m not a hugger.” “I have a prior commitment.”

It continues to amaze and impress me.
