Yeah, welcome to the heat wave, I guess. I am sheltering in place in the basement, as I have no car today and we are a non-air-conditioning household.

I have two problems today.

1. I’m SOOOOOOO behind on writing! Ack! If I wanted to catch up to my half-nano goal by the end of the weekend, I would need to write 6,000 words. (Total, not daily, so I guess that’s something, right?)

2. I watched the first half of Children of Dune last night (because James McAvoy is really watchable, and because probably everyone should have some kind of working knowledge of Dune, right?). But it ends on a cliffhanger, and now I have NO IDEA what happens next but I am VERY TEMPTED to go wiki it, except then I know I will lose all motivation to watch the second disc when it comes.
