Because it’s either fic recs or my TED talk on why workplaces should stop trying to corporatize fun, and last night I realized that two of my favorite James Bond fics were written by the same person, which led me to a third that I’ve probably read before but had forgotten, and that was pretty great.

(The one where Q is kidnapped by incompetents, and commentates the whole thing.)

“Think about it, your first time out, and you pinch a national intelligence treasure and ask his MI6 boyfriend for ransom. It isn’t very promising, is it?”

3. Home (and Country), by scioscribe
(The one where Eve realizes the 00s have adopted her and Q.)

“Oh, that,” M said, when Eve mentioned to him that every active MI6 agent seemed to have worked out a time-share arrangement for her house. “They do that.”
