marcicat | heat wave!

I am the first to admit that heat wave is not a great look on me. I get cranky. But the good news is that the current weather situation has made me get creative in my balcony time. The last few days I’ve been getting outside early (like 5:30 in the morning early) which is usually when I am patting the cat and checking email.

I mean, I’m still doing those things, just outside, where it’s cool. The sun is up, but not up enough to reach the balcony yet, and all the birds are out. It’s nice.

Added benefit: the downstairs neighbor who likes screamo rock is *not* taking advantage of their balcony at this time of day, which makes the experience all the more delightful.
