how time flies

I’ve set a goal to be done with the fic I’m working on by the end of this month. Since I started it back in — March? I can’t even remember anymore — it feels like it’s time.

So far in September I’ve written two sentences. Now, I’m no math genius, but looking at the number of days in the month, compared to my progress so far, I feel confident in saying I’m going to need to pick up the pace a little.

On the plus side, when I was hiking this week, I stepped outside after dark, and I looked up at the stars, and I thought: 1) wow! 2) that’s amazing! 3) hey, this is how my fic should end!

So there’s that.
