One of my neighbors has put up a new flag. It took me several minutes of staring to figure out what it was — Santa’s beard? A turkey?

Finally I realized it’s supposed to be a cornucopia. But there’s this big white circle involved, because — I wish I was kidding, but it’s true — the cornucopia is empty. There are a few things scattered around it (gourds? the flag is on the 3rd floor and I was looking at it from the ground, so I’m not entirely sure), but the horn of plenty itself is completely lacking in plentifulness.

I have no idea what to make of that.

Maybe it's like an Advent calendar and you're supposed to fill it up the closer you get to Thanksgiving?

That would make so much sense! (And also be an amazing flag -- I want one!) I'll keep an eye on it and see if anything changes as we get closer to Thanksgiving...
