a week late, but still 25 days to go!

I finally hit the 25,000 word mark on my campnowrimo two-month novel. Somewhat past the halfway mark in terms of time… But there is always the chance that (unlike every other nano I’ve done) the second half will be easier. Keep a good thought, right?

A thought occurred to Nate. “Is this… all of you?” he asked. Not that he wanted to be uncharitable, but on the off chance that a reality-twisting alien was feasting on their neighbor’s mansion, it would be helpful to know just how many extra people they should be prepared to protect and/or evacuate to safer ground.
