So far my week has started like this:

*Water dripping from the bathroom ceiling vent.  (But not much, and then it stopped!)

*Cat threw up at 4 am.  (But he seems fine now!)

*Computer took three restarts to stop giving me the ‘Mac OS could not be installed’ message.  (But it did finally start working!)

Genuinely unclear whether I should be thinking of these as bad things or good things.  Probably both, which is surely some sort of educational life lesson, but that’s a bit much for Monday morning.

THANK YOU!!! If I look at the brightest side of it: 1) the prospect of the landlord visiting my apartment led to a flash tidying that was much needed; 2) there's really never a bad time to cuddle the cat, even 4 am; and 3) it's always nice to justify the existence of a second internet-enabled device in my life. So there's that!
