Distractions have been most welcome this past week, so I started watching Guardian (I know, late to the party!).

And you know how at work sometimes there’s 80 hours worth of work crammed into a 40 hour week, and sometimes it’s more like 20 hours stretched out over five long days, and either way everyone just says they’re busy all the time because that’s the safe answer?

This week has been more of a 20 hours one, which means every time I say I’m busy what I actually mean is ‘I’ve been thinking about the web series Guardian, and it really seems like Zhao Yunlan’s dad should have figured out his plan wasn’t going to work really early on, because when Guo wanted to use the longevity dial to save basically a random stranger they’d just met, Zhao Yunlan was all ‘that’s a fantastic idea, I’ll do it,’ and also the fact that Zhao Yunlan and Da Qing literally sprawl around and bat at each other like cats is pretty much my favorite thing ever, except for possibly how ridiculously unsubtle Shen Wei is about everything relating to his supposedly secret identity.’

(Sometimes I wonder what *other* people mean when they say they’re busy.)
