post-posting story notes

*At some point in the writing process, the title made sense. More sense, at least? I mean, I think it works fine in the sense that it can be broadly interpreted as being connected in some way to the story, but originally it was going to require less interpretation.
*The plot/premise of the story changed three or four times as I was writing it, because it turns out even though I thought I wanted to write the story where Shen Wei was Batman and kept saving Zhao Yunlan from increasingly less dangerous situations, I actually have very little patience for writing secret identities.
*Also, I'd already included Kunlun and the 10,000 year time jump, which locked me into a couple other things unless I wanted to write a much longer story, which I didn't.
*Zhao Yunlan's mom was going to be in the story more, I swear. She was just, you know, busy, being awesome off-screen.
*Haha tagging for relationships is such a minefield for me. Turns out there's no tag for 'I wrote this scene with the baseline assumption that these characters were in a committed romantic relationship, but it is never explicitly acknowledged and I didn't want to deal with the drama of tagging for it in a T-rated fic.'
