onwards to adventure!
Aug. 25th, 2019 08:42 pmWhen you're planning on going away for a couple days, there comes a time in the preparation process when you decide that you really need to stop using dishes and throwing things away, because you're definitely not going to want to wash anything else, and you've already taken the trash out for what you *thought* was the last time.
Which is how I wound up eating dinner last night while standing at the stove and eating eggs out of the pan,* just so I wouldn't have to wash a plate. (I'm still going to have to take the trash out again, though.)
[Also, unrelated except in the fact that I used this tip at the very same pan-eggs meal: sometimes if I think too much about food and eating, my brain gets stuck on how incredibly gross it is as a process, which is not at all conducive to, you know, consuming nutrients. But if you look at a list of 'mindful eating tips' and then do the exact opposite, it really helps!]
(*I really wanted to get the eggs eaten, so the pan was going to get dirty no matter what, but I figured the plate was optional.)
