not the Sunday six
Sep. 1st, 2019 09:37 amOne thing I've noticed about hiking trips is that they tend to make me more eager to walk with a purpose. (Not always a super easy thing to do.) But I'm pretty excited that today I have TWO things I can do by walking!
1. Pay my rent! The landlord is working on selling the apartment complex, which is -- wow, just a whole separate set of worries and anxiety, but for the moment, today's rent check is due to be dropped off, and I can walk over and get it done!
2. Get my groceries! I live within walking distance of a grocery store, but I usually drive anyway, because mostly I just stop at the store on the way back from work. (Also there are whole sections of the year -- aka winter -- when I'm buying things like distilled water every week for the humidifier, and walking seems like A Lot To Ask.)
I suppose that means it must be time to change out of my pajamas.
