marcicatYesterday, 10 minutes before it was time to leave work, I was told that [big project group] was all kerfuffled over documentation, and that it is now my problem.
Therefore, the quote of today shall be from the esteemed Pilot: "Your inability to locate them does not negate the fact that they are there."*
[*from 'Farscape,' although when I googled the quote, I unearthed a NOTICE PAGE from the days of Angelfire, ofstarandrea talking about sleep typing! An unexpected delight!]
Because yes, the docs are there. Right there, in the packet.
My "favorite" part of the whole situation is that instead of, oh, asking? The person who decided the docs were "missing" just informed the entire project group of this "fact," causing said kerfuffle.
Then again, this is the same person who (at our first meeting!) asked how long it took me to do my job, and upon hearing the number, declared, "That's awful," and walked out of the room. A real charmer.
Still: time to channel my inner Pilot!
