crazy cat lady powers: activate!
Sep. 22nd, 2019 12:11 pmAt the risk of sounding very much like a crazy cat lady, I have discovered yet another use for the cat grooming brush. (It's purple and has the word "zoom" in the name, so those were two points in its favor even though Maggie's first reaction to it was less than positive. Which led me to keeping it around for a while instead of just tossing it back in the cat basket and forgetting it.)
Then I learned how helpful it is for getting cat fur off furniture and clothes! Worth the selling price right there. Even better, the cat has started to come around to actually enjoying (or at least permitting) this brush to come near her, which is amazing. But she's not keen on the recommended "circular motion" brushing -- short, straight lines for her, please and thank you!
Soooo... there I was, waiting for my computer to decide if it was going to start up, staring at the cat brush, thinking, 'I wonder what the circular motion feels like, anyway.'
Yes, I absolutely tried brushing my own hair with the cat brush. (It's very clean! There's probably less cat dander on the brush than on literally any piece of clothing I've worn in the past five years.) And can I just say, the circular motion is the BEST. I feel like I've had such a nice scalp massage! (Maggie's fur is longer than my hair, so I can't say for sure how it feels to her. But I thought it was very nice!)
