cat in lap, work time on pause

marcicatQueen Maggie loves laps. She's not always keen on patting, or touching, or anything in the category of 'human hands near her cat-ly self.' But laps -- laps, apparently, are different. She is 100% a lap cat, which is actually not something I remember any of our cats truly embracing as much as she does.
So that's where I'm at right now -- cat in lap, couldn't possibly get up to do work. She'll jump down when she's ready, and then I guess it's back to the chores list. In the meantime, I may possibly try to see just how close I can get to a nap-like reclining mode.
