*Due to reasons, it now looks as if I may not run out of story before I hit 50,000 words.

*It also looks like I may not run out of story AT 50,000 words, but I am, as ever, hopeful.

*Said reasons have completely thrown off the POV reminders at the top of my notecards.

*Which is not as much of a disaster as it could have been, given that the notes on cards 30 through 42 make very little sense at all.

*I have read through them multiple times and still can't figure out what I was trying to do.

*It's all question marks from here to the koi.

*Yesterday my coworker didn't believe me when I told them my stove doesn't have a timer. I did not tell them that if I'm able to keep track of over a dozen fictional characters for 50,000 words, I can certainly keep track of whether or not my stove has a timer on it.

*I'm not able to keep track of over a dozen fictional characters. It's possible Chu Shuzhi hasn't had any lines at all, and none of them ever do any work.

*My stove definitely doesn't have a timer, though.
