decorations update
Dec. 9th, 2019 05:35 amChristmas light bingo is off to a slow start this year -- three apartments in each building, but none in prime positions for bingo. Maybe the snow discouraged people? I was surprised not to see more.
However, things indoors are moving right along, with old favorites like the red berry wreath and the 'Tis the Season sign making a re-appearance on neighbors' doors. No Christmas bear wreath yet, but last year it didn't show up until really late, so it may yet join the festivities.
Stats: 5 of the 7 doors on this floor are decorated with a winter or winter holiday theme. (There's 8 doors really, but as far as I know one apartment is empty. An outlier! Can't be counted!) One door still has their Thanksgiving decoration up (totally understandable!), and one is the home of the Christmas bear wreath.
Of course the real excitement comes after the holidays, when it comes time to see who leaves their decorations up the longest, but seeing them all show up again is definitely fun too.
