car update

My car is back! The garage was able to do a repair instead of replacing the whole thing, so that was way better than I expected.
Most alarming information received: Part of the original attachment method was velcro. (Like, in addition to the bolts and clips and stuff, but still -- velcro? Really?) ((PS: The garage assured me they superglued that part instead, lol.))
ANYWAY! To recap, the week has gone like this:
1. Adventure I did not want to have.
2. Mom and Dad to the rescue!
3. Got to drive Mom's SUV to work for two days. (I was so tall! I pretended I was Jasmine in Independence Day, driving the big truck.)
4. Worked from home on garage repair day, swapped cars, learned things I really didn't want to know about how cars are held together.
5. My car is now fixed, and I have promised to be more careful backing up. And going forward. And just in general.
