workaday Wednesday: field trip edition

marcicat*AHHHH it was so weird to go back to the office, and there were So Many cars there? Like, where were all those people, because I only saw four the whole time I was there.
*"Whole time," hahaha -- I tried to be as quick as possible, so it was only half an hour or so.
*It definitely felt like I was being fired, because "clean our your desk" means something very specific in corporate language, and then I felt like I was going to get in trouble for stealing the office supplies in my desk, except that I wasn't being fired, and so the office supplies are fine because I'm still using them for my job, and it was all very confusing.
*Yes, they really did provide three bankers boxes. (Well. There was a stack of boxes, and I took three, and did not get questioned. So I'll call that close enough.)
*I did not sort anything, just dumped everything into the boxes and trekked them out to my car. That'll be a project for today. And possibly tomorrow. And Friday. Ugh, there was more stuff than I remembered, honestly.
