more breakfast chocolate thoughts

This week I tried the Alter Eco brand 'Deep Dark Blackout Organic Chocolate.' (Among other things. I ate a lot of Trader Joe's chocolate while I was on vacation, which was excellent, but I have more of it, so it'll get a review later. This will be the last day of the Alter Eco chocolate, and it's largely unmemorable, so if I don't write about it now, it probably won't happen.)
It's an 85% dark chocolate, and doesn't taste much like what my brain associates with chocolate, but it's not bad. There's nothing I particularly dislike about it, but nothing I particularly like, either. Unfortunately, I have to remind myself to keep eating it, and tend to stop as soon as possible, which is counter to the whole point of the breakfast chocolate. Alas, Alter Eco, it just wasn't meant to be.
