Halloween recap
Nov. 2nd, 2020 05:52 amLooking back at Halloween before it becomes completely weird to bring it up again!
*The apartment building did hallway trick or treat for the kids (as in, participating apartments put things in the hall, and the kids walked around inside). At least, I assume that's how it worked; I was elsewhere during the appointed hours, but I put my candy out and 17 of the 23 treat bags were taken, so I'm calling that a successful event.
*Those binder clips I liberated from work really came in handy with the candy display. (I mean, I did craft up the candy display during work hours, so it sort of counts? Okay, not really, but let's go with it.)
*Apparently it's Christmas now, even more than in previous years. The grocery store had Christmas candy out on Friday (the day BEFORE Halloween!). And during Friday's coworker chitchat time, one person mentioned that 'they wanted to put their Christmas tree up November 1st, but their husband was golfing that day, so they put it up October 30th instead.' That's not even 'I'm missing the warm cozy glow of Christmas so I thought I might do a little early decorating.' Full on putting the tree up?! I boggled.
