marcicatIn an update that will perhaps be unsurprising, no one came around yesterday to clean the sprinkler heads. (To be fair: I believe that Maintenance was in the building, most likely doing that exact task, but they did not get to this apartment.)
And see, the tricky thing is that if you know someone is coming in to, say, replace the water heater (which is in the bathroom), you can make an effort to make that space accessible. (::cough:: and free of anything you'd prefer not to be in the public view ::cough::)
Haha which makes it sound like I have interesting things in my apartment, but no, really* it means 'the cat can spend the day in the bedroom, where she'll be happy and less stressed.'
(*Okay, mostly it means that. Look, sometimes it's laundry day and my underwear is hanging up to dry, that's just the way it goes.)
But if someone is going to need to be in EVERY ROOM, that is a more complex situation. Especially if you (APPARENTLY) don't know exactly what day they're coming.
On the plus side, this really answered the question of 'what will I write about today' very effectively.
