*I've been telling myself that the story doesn't make sense if you haven't seen the show, but the further I go, the less I think it makes sense even if you HAVE seen the show.
*On the other hand, I realized over the weekend that the whole 'the motivations of the villain are the weakest part of the story' conversation in an early episode was absolutely the show making fun of itself, and that made me laugh a lot.
