Things I Can Only Assume The People Behind The Avengers Movie Were Not Expecting:

1. Darcy/Clint

2. I DO WHAT I WANT!

They must have known, in the same way that the creators of X-Men: First Class must have known, that canon/fanon (honestly, who can tell when it comes to comics?) insists on vaguely romantic and/or sexual overtones for pretty much every relationship imaginable. Which leads me to this:

The Avengers team-up movie concept is totally my favorite thing to happen to fandom this year. And the movie’s not even out yet! (Fandom doesn’t even *need* a movie! Because we are awesome that way!)
