marcicatHeaded back to work (in the sense that I will be logging on from here) today. Ah, Labor Day weekend, I miss you already!
(Will we ever go back to the office? The latest from the execs is that some roles may remain remote. They also say they 'can't wait to see everyone again in person.' Since I never saw any of them in person pre-pandemic, that statement seems... disingenuous? My boss says we're staying remote, which in the grand tradition of the workplace, will definitely be true right up until it isn't.)
BUT! I am actually looking forward to the part of the day where I go sit at the desk, because the cat likes to come investigate (and sometimes sit in my lap!), and that's always fun. ('What's the best part of your job?' 'It provides enrichment for my cat.')
