What I imagined this story would be: All the characters I liked having a Rollicking Good Time while they bumbled around in the past trying to avoid the trouble they wound up in the first time around.
What the story has been so far: All the characters I liked having Sad Feelings, while also feeling Upset and Overwhelmed by the scope of the trouble that exists whether they avoid it or not.
::this is my Not Surprised face::
HOWEVER! The news, which is both the good news and the bad news, is that there are still A Lot Of Words left to go before 50,000. Plenty of time for the mental health of all involved to improve. ::is hopeful::
