Sep. 28th, 2022 05:54 amEvery year, my workplace sends out a set of trainings about things like data security, business ethics, avoiding conflicts of interest, that sort of thing. Last year was the first time they all had little animated videos to go with them, and I've been reluctantly impressed that this year's trainings have all NEW animated videos.
Anyway, you're supposed to watch them all and there are little quizzes at the end just to prove you got that far, and then you sign off that you agree, and you're officially trained. It's better than nothing?
Yesterday we had a team meeting, and the boss reminded everyone to complete the trainings by the due date, and one person was like 'oh yeah I've finished them; you can just skim through them.' And I was just ::facepalm:: because there is LITERALLY a training about the dangers of not taking the trainings seriously, and if you're going to talk about not doing that, you should DEFINITELY not do it in front of your boss!
