marcicatIt's trick or treat day here in town -- we don't get anyone coming here, but we're right next to a busy Halloween-friendly neighborhood. Last year starandrea said it was quite an experience (even walking around as a spectating adult), so I'm very curious to check it out this evening.
Things I particularly like about Halloween:
*black cats
*purple is now a standard Halloween color, apparently
*Reeses peanut butter cups
Things I'd be happy to skip:
*anything scary
*anything gory
*why is it at a time of year that's so cold and dark in the evenings???
