day 23: workaday Wednesday

marcicatYes, it's a work day, or possibly a "work" day. I was hoping we might get an early release, but no word on it so far, and my newest (temporary?) boss is taking today off. (We got an email from them yesterday, and I was so excited, but it just said the usual 'enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday, be back all the earlier afterwards ready to get to work,' that sort of thing.
Still, who knows??? An announcement may yet come from the powers that be. (Also, to be totally fair, with so many people taking vacation days, there is not exactly a HUGE amount of work to be done, even if we have not been officially dismissed.)

Goal if I was on track for last Saturday's 'save me from Thanksgiving' goal: 39,333
Actual goal: somewhere in between those two?
