marcicatnotes so far on participating in the Battleship Exchange for the first time:

*But I'm having a great time??? (I don't generally participate in things? Because I do not enjoy participating? So my current enjoyment is unexpected but very welcome!)
*It reminds me of the chaos and excitement of nanowrimo, but if everyone was writing the same story. The goal is SOOOO high, but everyone's working towards it at the same time.
*The most nerve-wracking part is trying to fill a request or prompt from someone I don't know. (How do exchange participants handle the stress???) I very bravely did it two whole times, and now I'm planning to gift anything else I manage to write tostarandrea. YAY FOR HAVING AN EXCHANGE BUDDY!
