It often feels to me like people in my workplace think I am a boring person who stays at home all the time. While this is essentially true, there are a few reasons I sometimes would prefer they think otherwise.
ANYWAY, it ALSO often feels to me like people place more value on activities done in a group, or done in some official way. (Is this just me? I DO tend to overthink things.)
WHICH MEANS that it occurred to me I could just frame my activities in a different way, and suddenly they would seem less boring AND more valuable. (aka TOTALLY like things that are important enough to turn down all non-working-hours invites for 'optional' work events.)
*pre-work walk? Oh, you mean my Neighborhood Walking Group?
*maintaining my duolingo streak? I'm taking a Language Class
*working on my crochet advent calendar? Yes, my Crafting Club is very active this month
*online yoga? I definitely don't want to miss my Yoga Seminar
*reading fanfic? You must mean my Book Club!
