heckin wimdy

marcicat*It's HECKIN wimdy out there today, and also raining, so no grocery store trip for me this morning. Luckily I've got plenty of snacks. Also, my meals got weird last week with the whole onsite day and subsequent recovery time, so there's plenty of food just in general.
*The power has flickered several times, including once when the internet went out. I had great fun watching the list of available networks slowly repopulate -- living in a high-density population area, there are a LOT of networks around. Hi neighbors!
*Today's crochet advent calendar project is a prize instead -- a crochet hook! (I opened that one waaaaaay back at the start of the month so I could use it for all the projects.) So I'm going to make an attempt at a cat.
*The winter winds blow *just right* to create a serious draft through the wall AC unit. It's got a cover over it on the inside, but last winter I also tacked a blanket over it, and that helped a lot. Time to find that blanket again...
*Right, also it's a work day, so I should figure that out. Maybe change out of my pajamas?
