sort of a goals update

I was going to post about my learn / move / connect goals from the start of the year, because I'm pretty sure I haven't done that in a while, but it turns out that things like 'checking the last time I posted about goals' and 'actually writing a coherent post about goals' are more effort than I'm really willing and able to make right now. So here's my less than coherent rambling coming that I'm vaguely guessing is overdue.
Learning! I included doing things left-handed in the learning goal, which is going great, in the sense that I crocheted my first blanket entirely right-handed and my wrist was like 'no thanks,' and that turned out to be excellent motivation to switch back and forth for my second blanket. I'm doing three rows lefty, three rows righty. It's slow going, honestly, but some of that is the increased width of the rows and the thinner yarn compared to the first blanket. Looking at what I've done so far, I don't think it's obvious which rows are which, so that seems like a win.
Moving! Pre-work walks have not been happening much, but we've been keeping up with the lunch walks. I remind myself (again, and again, and again) that even a five-minute yoga video 'counts' for the day, and that's kept me from giving up on it entirely.
Connecting! The eclipse trip was by far my most ambitious connecting goal, and it was amazing. Achieved! Congratulations! I've been in extreme hermit mode ever since, but I expect my willingness to see and interact with other people will eventually level out again.
