marcicatYesterday I found out that someone in a related department was fired last Thursday, which really shows how far out of the gossip loop I've become. (Getting news from my boss?!? What's the world coming to???)
Anyway, the implication was that the entire department has been thrown into chaos (not that much different than a regular day in any department, honestly), and led to this absolute GEM of a quote from someone in that department later in the day:
"If you try to email someone [in the department] and they don't answer... [loooooooong pause] try emailing someone else."
