IT CONCLUDES

marcicatTechnically, this is DAY THREE of the IN-PERSON WORKPLACE EXTRAVAGANZA. But they left this day up to the department leaders ("team meetings" or "department meetings" is how this day shows up on the agenda), and the department I'm in is technically "back at work" today instead of in meetings, soooooooooo...
Which is to say, I'M HOME!!! HALLELUJAH!!!
Quick recap of Day 2:
*Handed out cookies a couple times when I was eating a snack; this was possibly my most brilliant and appreciated contribution to any workplace event in my ten years of working there.
*My cornhole team placed respectably average; I showed some improvement over the course of the (so long!) 'tournament,' and so feel I acquitted myself adequately.
*At one point I was sitting by myself, feet up, and someone walked by and said, "You look chill as fuck." (I have no idea who it was; my already poor facial recognition was further hindered by everyone wearing hats and sunglasses, so it could have been almost anyone.) Which takes the prize for most complimentary thing anyone has ever said to me at a workplace event!
